We purchased a sample of this a rug, ultimately looking for an 8x10 or 9x12 for our living room. This is a luxurious wool blend rug with a nice dense pile and soft touch. The sample ran 'true to color' of the photos on the website (same as those found on the manufacturers). Although we chose another rug (we wanted a bit more blue and less gray), it was clear to us that this Surya Zephr ZPH-3000 area rug was a very high quality product. The IRD Sample policy is the most generous I found among Internet rug retailers and the customer service staff are all top-notch. So although we opted for different rugs (Rizzy Vogue VOG108 and Mod MOD867A), this was a definite winner. We bought from IRD because the shopping tools are the best (love the easy to use ‘view in your room feature' and upload your own colors for color search), the detailed product information was comprehensive, and the pricing extremely competitive (don’t forget to use a promo code-if you don’t see one, just ask!). They also offer a free rug pad on many rugs (larger sizes only), so you should calculate that into your price comparisons—the rug pad also can be even be upgraded at an additional discounted upcharge—just ask customer support before ordering).
