I rate this rug five stars because it deserves five stars, but don't think Four Seasons Hotel rather that really great hut community you stayed at in some remote part of the world. Don't get me wrong, the rug is gorgeous and I'm happy and satisfied with it. It was discounted to the price I paid and I feel that the price I paid was a fair. Any amount more than that would, in my opinion, be overpriced for this rug, and not worth it. It is hand woven but not with the best wool, nor skill. Jointed knots show in several places, which often fool me that a piece of lint is on the floor. This is Picasso during his "child" phase and not Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, nonetheless a work of art. It is a very thin rug which makes if feel anemic, but a thick and expensive rug pad solved that. The colors are gorgeous and are spot on with how the pictures illustrated on my computer (iMac). The rug is elegant, yet playful. Grown up, but not serious. And best of all, "it really ties the room together." Now if you know what movie that quote is from then you'll really understand what I'm talking about. Oh yeah, I loved my experience with ICAD.com.
