I would love to give this rug 5 stars because it is beautiful and Incredible Rugs has wonderful customer service that responds quickly. I appreciate that.........But ever since this rug was delivered, I have had issues with what looks like little snags.....ALL over the rug. I reached out to Incredible and was told that it is called "sprouting" ... Little pieces of yarn are pulled up a bit taller than the other yarns, and that this is normal in some rugs. It can be caused by simple walking on or vacuuming the rug. When asked how to deal with it, they told to use scissors to trim the sprout down to the same size as the rest of the rug. Which does work, however, the rug is 9' x 12' and it is going to take me forever to do this. I will do it, because the rug is very visible in my family room, but it just seems a bit crazy to me. If the rug were smaller, it would be an easy fix. Anyway, want people to know that the rug is beautiful and the colors are just as shown. It is a nice design that really adds something to a room. But be aware that you may have issues with "sprouting".
