I have been unsuccessfully trying many many rugs in my home office and have just never loved any of them. I have been eyeing this rug for a while and the price was what always held me back. It went on clearance and I finally decided to buy it. After ordering the size 5 x 8, incredible rugs notified me it was no longer available in that size. They were helpful and suggested other sizes and similar rugs. Having no luck on finding anything comparable anywhere else, I bought the rug in 8 x 11 intending to have it custom sized for the room. I am SOO glad I did. It is super soft and so well made - no kidding it was 82lbs!!! A local rug place cut it and finished the edges for me and I will be making runners and smaller versions with the left over cuttings. . It is dark and moody and the colors of the room were a perfect match (curtains, walls, etc). I was meant to have this rug. It is even prettier and even more unique in person.
