I am incredibly impressed with the thickness and quality of the rug - especially for the price. I have been looking for a rug that woudl be durable for incoming foot traffic and yet not be an 'outdoor' type rug. I also didn't want a busy pattern as I have other things going on in that area to compete with. This rug is perfect! I saw others, but was unwilling to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a rug that would be abused. This rug is so thick and made of wool so it will withstand the wear it will get with family members (including pets) and guests. Great color, soft underfoot... I just can't say enough. I will be buying other sizes to go with the one I got.
