I love the look of this well-made rug in my room (my rug is 8x11). It's perfect. The colors are very earthy and the weave is tight. Since this rug is handwoven and not machine-woven, they can only weave as wide as their loom (about 32" for the rug I bought), so the woven strips are sewn together (see image 1). They are sewn together beautifully, securely and discreetly and the rug lays flat. I'm really glad I got this rug, which replaced a hand-tufted wool rug that was more traditional in its pattern and shed all the time. Wish I would have started here. :-)
