The rug pattern is beautiful and the colors are perfect! HOWEVER! This rug sheds so bad there are balls of lint no matter how many times I vacuum it. Plus, when the sun is just right you can see the carpet fiber floating in the air. Is this safe to be breathing????
The construction and colors are true to the photos. A very rich look! Any odor mentioned in another buy’s review was not evident, but I always air out rugs for several days before using.
I would have been satisfied with this rug, but it was clearly subject to moisture at some point and smelled dank and musty. I had it outside for days to air out without change and finally had to resort to a bottle of Fabreeze. Not sure I could recommend due to this.
During the hot summer months, humidity can collect inside the wrapped package. The solution is to vacuum the rug thoroughly to flush fresh air through the pile. Your Rizzy rug is quite thick and can hold in a musty smell for quite a while, so it will need plenty of time to air out, but it's a beautiful rug and well worth the time it needed. Enjoy!
