This rug looks just like the picture with deep rich colors. The thickness of the rug is about 1/3”. The feel is soft but I can tell it is not the wool I usually prefer, but loved the color/design so sacrificed on my wool requirement. I needed a warmth of color under my husbands bear rug and this did the trick.
