I looked at about 2000 rugs online. I'm not kidding. I came across this and immediately loved it, but I was concerned about the background being brown. I generally do not like brown or have it in my home decor. But in real life, it has more grey in it than it appears online, so it's a more neutral color in the background. The rug is so beautiful and it's well-made. There was one loop of yarn that had come undone but I'm not going to return it because of that one thing. It's just annoying. And I pray my cats do not destroy this rug!
Great to hear from you Lisa. Thank you for the photos and the feedback on color. Anytime you see a stray piece of yarn you can just snip it with a sharp pair of scissors. Rugs that have a looped pile will sometimes have a stray piece. Photos look great.
I bought this as a runner. The chocolate brown background is great for a high traffic area. I put it in a hallway with soft white walls. It brings a pop of fun colors to an otherwise very neutral area.
