We love the rug . thanks
This rug is beautiful and feels amazing. I was so happy when it arrived but soon reality hit. My mother-in-law spilled a drink on it and we quickly tried to clean it up but a yellow ring appeared and the whole area was discolored and flattened. After researching (and I fully acknowledge it was my fault for not doing better research prior to purchasing this rug) I found that it’s made of viscose which is basically bamboo fibers broken down into paper then made into thread. So any water spill will ruin the rug/paper material. You can’t have any liquid come in contact with it ever. And I’ve learned it wears down quickly. I contacted professionals to clean it and most said they won’t touch viscose because it’s so fragile. One cleaner did use dry cleaning material to clean it but it didn’t help much and now our $2,000 rug is ruined a month into owning it. My bad in not researching better but hopefully this review will save someone else from making the same mistake.
