J.H. (Garner, NC) This rug is very pleasant, both in looks and under foot. It's nice and thick and soft against skin. The colors are more muted than I would like and the base color is more of a taupe that a cream but still pleasant. It has not shed much at all. We put ours in the foyer and with the thickness the door just makes it over but with more effort now. I recommend measuring the clearance the bottom of your door has when considering this rug. We were afraid we would not be able to open the door and have to return the rug, which would have been very disappointing since it when so well in our space otherwise. The colors in my photos look exactly like in real life.
