Disappointed with product - happy with customer service
We recently purchased the Karastan Kaleidoscope Canterbury Red because we had very good luck with Karastan rugs. Unfortunately, there was a defect and we had to ship it back at the company's expense. The replacement rug had a minor defect in two areas of the binding. We made a choice to keep it and turn it around so the minor defect wasn't visible to any view by the public.
Our first Karastan was wool and this one is synthetic. I believe that was a big difference in quality. The pattern, design and color is the same one as our wool Karastan that we bought from a local carpet store over 20 years ago, so we knew we liked the colors. I will only be buying wool area rugs in the future. This Karastan is still soft and will function in the room it was meant for. The customer service from this company was outstanding. Communication was efficient and supportive. They were eager to solve the issue. Thank you Robert and other staff for caring.
