I ordered Karastan Estate - Blue . The color was very light compared to the picture...like night and day. Do not feel like going through the hassle of returning as it is a large size rug.

This rug is gorgeous and arrived in time for Thanksgiving family gathering. Everyone commented how pretty it is under our new dining table. I will add it is much lighter than the photo online, but we love how bright it is with the wood table contrast.
I’m so pleased with this beautiful karastan rug. Having owned several older woolen Karastan area rugs before, I had my fingers crossed that this one would measure up as well. The colors are beautiful and it doesn’t shed. The background colors are actually lighter than the on line picture which is even better. I would certainly recommend this lovely, quality Karastan product.

The colors in this rug are overall lighter than what the picture looks like. It’s a soft rug, but thinner than the Market Spice series.
