I ordered the sample swatch to judge the color and pattern in our home before purchasing a full sized rug.
I was surprised after opening the package to see that the sample was the entire carpet shrunken down to the small sample, versus a section of the rug. It was helpful to accurately see the color and feel the pile of the rug, but the pattern size was a bit off due to the dimensions. The colors didn't work for our room, but I wish they had! It was helpful to order a sample to determine.
