New Wool Rug

I shopped for this rug on line as my local oriental rug dealer has retired. I thought I would try a hand tufted piece in lieu of the hand knotted variety. I am happy with the result. It is plush, the colors vibrant, what looks to be fine quality work and wool and certainly lower cost than the hand knotted variety which can be costly in this size. Could not see the rug as it was on the website.

The rug was not as it appeared on the web page. A gray, lighter colored field, caused the details, especially red, to stand out too prominently. Ask for a good picture of the rug you are considering for purchase. Shipping back a large rug is a pain, getting it re-wrapped and getting it to a shipper. Return was prepaid by seller though.
