To prevent rugs from buckling and 'creeping' over wall to wall carpet, this thin, lightweight pad works like magic. With the tacky side down to carpet, and felt side up to rug, the dry adhesive will adhere rug and pad to the floor to prevent movement, wrinkles and puckers leaving the rug smooth and flat. The pad can be removed and re-adjusted and does not leave a residue on carpet or rug. This pad can also be reversed with gray side down to a hard surface floor and white side up to grip the rug. 

Pad should fit entire area of rug, trimmed easily with scissors about 1 inch smaller on each side.

Works well

I originally ordered a rug to install on the carpeting in one of our rooms for decorative purposes without a pad. Every time some one walked on it the rug moved. If our two dogs were playing in the room it often "creeped" as much as 12 inches. After reading about, ordering and installing this pad the rug has not moved an inch no matter what trafic it has been subjected to. While the pad does "stick" to the carpeting, there does not appear, either visually or by feel, to be any residue left behind.

Stopped the "creep"....

Solved the Creeping problem with our large area rug over carpet. Easy to work with and we now have a nice area rug with out wrinkles. Thanks !!

Perfect Solution!

So good I ordered a second one.

I have rugs in my son and daughter room. Before I ordered the tacky pad, the rugs shifted like crazy and I was constantly putting it back in place; couldn’t stand it. I ordered an area rug for our living room and asked what they would recommend for the rugs over carpet. The tacky pad was it. Initially, I ordered one to see how it worked and shortly after ordered a second. Great product and the rug has not shifted at all. I have already recommend the tacky pad to others.
