Beautiful rug I would not have discovered without the helpful customer service. I was feelings overwhelmed with colors of a area rug being purchased online. The customer service representative reviewed the picture of the room the rug was intended for. She provided some great recommendations. I selected Loloi Amara AMM-03 Charcoal/Lagoon Area Rug. I loved the rug the minute I opened the packaging it arrived at my home. Extra bonus with Incredible Rugs is the returning customer bonus points. We were looking for a rug that could be subtle but fill a space at the same time, and this rug is just that! I was drawn to the fact that the underlining color of the rug is black (the entire edge is black) but that it had an interesting design that is both recognizable when focused on it but subtle enough that doesn’t feel overwhelming. The design is rich with colors ranging from green, gray, cream, pops of red. I was surprised by how bright the blue was compared to the images I’d seen but it works in our room which has dark hardwood floors. (This blue is also the second border along all four edges just inside the black.)
The ply is perfect, very low profile but not tough and comfortable to walk on with bare feet or sit on. It was a splurge but couldn’t be happier with this rug!!

I love this rug! We have a dog and a 6-month-old, so I wanted something durable, could hide stains, and easy to clean up dog hair. This checked all the boxes. I also really like Incredible Rugs - this was the only place I could find this rug after it was featured on Chris Loves Julia.

This rug is magnificent. As you can see from the photos, I have browns, blacks, and multi-colors in my home decor which made finding the right rug challenging. I tried multiple rugs and looked everywhere--Overstock, TJ Maxx, World Market, Wayfair, CB2, Design Within Reach, MGBW, and more stores. If this describes you, then keep reading as I hope this helps you make a quality decision. I originally saw a sample of this rug in a store. I searched online and Incredible Rugs and Decor had the best deal and markdowns. Definitely nothing but great customer service ever since then. The Loloi Amara Charcoal/Lagoon has a little bit of every color, but the subdued style renders a conservative (not overwhelmingly colorful) multi-colored effect. This is hard to find in a rug, especially black vs. brown (this rug has both). I was concerned that the rug might be too gray/dark, but the white-top effect dispelled those fears. The carpet complements the natural lighting in the room. I was concerned that this might have the "distressed" look which I dislike. This carpet is not that: the unique design stands out and is modern. The dark contrasts the light, bringing out both sides as desired depending on your decor. I chose a low pile because I have carpeting underneath, and I prefer low pile rugs for high traffic areas (like the living room). This delivered. The rug is not scratchy. It is medium soft and firm. I wanted a transitional rug - a touch of traditional blended with modern. This is that. Finally, the rug is so versatile in its look and design, that I would recommend it for a living room, dining room, or a bedroom. It is truly fantastic. I have been told many times that "wools rugs will last forever." In other words, it is worth the money. (Note, these photos were taken with winter lighting). About me: I am a real person!
