The graceful motifs and open ground in our Toscano pattern showcase the signature 'stria' effect used throughout the Ashara collection. In the background and motifs many gradations of color are utilized to achieve the rich variations often found in fine carpets woven with hand-dyed, hand spun yarns. This softened visual texture gives these rugs a relaxed appeal that is comfortable with both traditional and casual furnishings. Nature inspired accents of mocha, sea glass, soft brown and cherry red resonate against a subtle creamed coffee ground.

The Karastan Ashara Rug collection consists of 100% New Zealand Wool pile woven in a wonderful Machine Made weave. With a beautiful color/pattern combination, our only complaint is that Karastan didn't make more of them.
