I liked this rug so much I ordered another one. The colors aren’t as vibrant as the picture but I really do like it. Excellent customer service!
First, the 10×13 rug is folded and shipped in a box. Hope the creases finish going away. Second, it might be from the rug not lying flat but it does not seem to be a perfect rectangle. This is problematical because it lays on a brick paver floor in the family room that has an accurate matrix grout between the pavers. The rug is not quite parallel on three sides. Also, the edges seem to curve in and out a bit. The biggest turnoff, however, is that one inch of the edge was unraveling straight out of the box. I am thinking about returning the rug to Oriental Weavers and will be exploring that option tomorrow.
Originally I had thought a geometric design would be the direction to go for design. I measured the space and knew I would have to order no matter what I decided on. I scrolled through several sites and wasn't coming across anything that I thought would worked. When I saw this rug design I decided perhaps I needed to reconsider my original idea of a geometric. I had seen this rug when I worked as an interior designer. I took a close-up look at this rug and decided it fulfilled our needs. It had the impact That I knew the rug needed to connect the elements of the room. After the rug arrived (within 8 days from orderin we live in Hawaii) we rolled the rug out and let it relax overnight. It was perfect for the space the colors, design and size connected all the elements of the room . My husband said" It feels good when I'm barefooted." I conclusion It was a PERFECT AREA RUG for our space.
The colors in this rug are rich and flows beautifully together.
