The Javari is gorgeous in the photo, but it’s looks silver in my room! I would like known before buying so I would not have been surprised. As you see in the photos below it depends on light and angle for which you are standing. Still a beautiful rug and the delivery was fast.
The rug looks fantastic, Kelley. Remember, you can rotate the rug in the room 180 degrees to darken/lighten the color appearance. Also, the lighting in the room can play a part on coloration. Enjoy!
I ordered the sample and decided not to get this rug because of the shiny fibers. I’ve learned to avoid the synthetics now. (The exception is the Karastan Everstrand Pile in the Spice Market runner I have). I ordered a 100% wool rug, knowing I’ll get what’s shown in the photo. The Javari is gorgeous in the photo, but it’s looks silver in my room! The associate I spoke to was very helpful and knew exactly what I was talking about. I look forward to the delivery of my new rug. I don’t know if this serves as a review, but it would be helpful if the descriptions of your synthetic rugs included this trait. It does depend on the light/orientation in the room, so very confusing.
