It looks like the close ups online, not like the whole rug photos, which I was happy about. It has the blues but the olive shows up dark, almost black. It definitely has a tweedy look. We put a rug pad under it to give it a little more cushion. We haven’t had a problem with shedding and would only hesitate if we had a dog or cat with nails since the loops could catch. It came packaged very well. Glad we got it!
